Nissan Murano

Rented one of these on a trip to Utah. Had a couple of complaints, mostly related to rearward visibility.

On the other hand, 4WD and good ABS did wonders for this California boy on snow.

Okay, here are my complaints:

The interior trim was overly gadget-y. One of my complaints about my Nissan Maxima is that bits of the plastic trim, like the hinge for the driver/passenger center armrest and storage area, were absurdly weak and broke way too early. This car seems to take that sillyness to absurd limits, including a stupid cover for the cup-holders that already, with 4k miles on the car, took careful finessing to close.

Rearward visibility, frankly, sucks. I'd have gladly traded a more conventional shape for rearward visibility that didn't have monster blind spots.

It's less than a freakin SUV, it's a 4WD station wagon. Why does the speedometer go to 160, making the difference between 50 and 55 somewhere around the limits of visual acuity.
