We had hoped that there was going to be snow on the top of Mt. Tam, but the forecast wasn't terribly promising. As we started up Temelpa, Dave mentioned that he'd been reading about a trail off to the left that led to the site of a PBM-5 seaplane that crashed back in 1944, shortly after taking off from Alameda on its way to Hawaii.
Came home and hung up some holiday lights, in the rain.
